Top Cultural Experiences in Lisbon
Lisbon is a city that struggles to resist worldwide globalization and tries to retain the old empire majesty. In the afternoon Lisbon is soothing and in the evening it fascinates.You won’t find glass towers and highways here. It’s a city of an endless sea of terracotta roofs, cobblestone streets and tiles facades.
The elevator Santa Justa. The famous elevator located in the heart of Lisbon in the central part of the city. It connects hilltop Baixa district and downtown Chiado. The appeal of the Santa Justa lift isn’t as much the elevator itself but the platform and the amazing panorama it provides.
Belem Tower – an icon of the Lisbon city. Belem Tower is a symbol of Portugal’s mightiness, including its privileged exchange with other cultures and civilisations.The tower was built during the era of large discoveries. Telecabine or Cable car. If you want to enjoy a ride in the air in Lisbon – cable car is the perfect place. During the ride you can enjoy a beautiful view towards Nations Park, Tagus river and on the longest bridge in Europe Vasco da Gama.

Há Tapas no Mercado – the most delicious authentic cuisine. A family-run cozy restaurant offers an authentic and excellent tapas dinner which we thoroughly enjoyed. All dishes in the menu are made from the fresh Portuguese ingredients. The restaurant has only 7 or 8 tables, so be sure to make a reservation in advance.
Gin Lovers & LESS bar. It’s a perfect place to have a drink or some refreshments in a lounge-place. The bar has a huge variety of gins’ cocktails and it allows you to really enjoy every drink. The relaxing atmosphere and amazing music will make your evening in Lisbon unforgettable.
Madame Petisca Restaurant, Bar and Terrace.It’s located on the top of the Monte Belvedere hotel. You can enjoy Portuguese tapas with a glass of wine. This restaurant is a nice dinner place with the best view over the River Tagus.
